Obon festival (Buddhist event honoring ancestors in mid-August)
おぼんにはせんぞのれいを迎えるならわしがあります。—During Obon there is a custom of welcoming the spirits of ancestors.

せいじんしきにはれぎを着ます。—People wear formal clothes at coming-of-age ceremonies.
